Applied Learning Programme

Chemical and Applied Sciences (Fragrance)

Bartley Secondary School Applied Learning Programme in Chemical and Applied Sciences (Fragrance) aims to develop the passion for the learning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in our pupils and to imbue in them the skills in these areas. Admission Selection Criteria
  • Pupils must possess diligence and positive attitude in academic work.
  • Pupils who have keen interest in Science and/or Mathematics.
  • Considerations will be taken on a pupil's relevant accomplishments and representation in any other STEM-related activity.

Application Procedure
Interested applicant can obtain a copy of the BSS DSA application form from the school general office or download the form here.

Only one application form duly completed is to be submitted and the following supporting documents must be submitted along with the completed application form:
  • Passport size photo
  • Copies of Primary 5 and 6 academic result slips
  • Copies of portfolio or record of special awards and achievements (if any) in STEM and other Co-Curricular Activities (CCA).

Do note that all documents submitted in connection with this DSA application are non-returnable.

Applicants may begin submitting their application from 9th May 2018.
Application form must be duly completed and submitted with copies of supporting documents to Bartley Secondary School General Office front desk in person by Monday 9th July 2018.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be notified and will be required to participate in a selection interview. The school will notify the shortlisted applicants on the details of the selection interview.

All applicants will be informed of the outcome (Confirmed Offer, Waiting List or Rejected) via posts and/or phone calls by 31st August 2018.

Successful applicants’ primary schools will follow up with the next stage of DSA Exercise and the applicants will exercise their preference. Results of DSA will be released on the same day as the release of PSLE results.
