Learning for Life Programme – Community Youth Leadership

Community Youth Leadership Programme in Bartley aims to develop pupils to be leaders for themselves and others, selfless in leading and serving the community. The details of the programme can be found here.


Admission Selection Criteria
  • Pupils must possess diligence and positive attitude in academic work.
  • Pupils who have shown exemplary character in school
  • Pupils who have assumed leadership roles. ·     Pupils who have a passion in leading their peers in serving the community.       

Application Procedure
Interested applicant can obtain a copy of the BSS DSA application form from the school general office or download the form here.

Only one application form duly completed is to be submitted and the following supporting documents must be submitted along with the completed application form:
  • Passport size photo
  • Copies of Primary 5 and 6 academic result slips
  • Copies of portfolio or record of special awards and achievements (if any) in character and leadership. 

Do note that all documents submitted in connection with this DSA application are non-returnable.

Applicants may begin submitting their application from 22nd May 2017.
Application form must be duly completed and submitted with copies of supporting documents to Bartley Secondary School General Office front desk in person by  Friday 21st July 2017.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be notified and will be required to participate in an interview. The school will notify the shortlisted applicants on the details of the interview.
     
All applicants will be informed of the outcome (Confirmed Offer, Waiting List or Rejected) via post and/or phone call by 31st August 2017.

Successful applicants’ primary schools will follow up with the next stage of DSA Exercise and the applicants will exercise their preference. Results of DSA will be released on the same day as the release of PSLE results.
