Activities done by the PSG for 2016

Welcome Tea cum Bonding Session for New PSG members

On this day, we welcome our new PSG members to the Bartley family! The day started with a DISC workshop to find one’s strength and potential contribution to the team. After which, it was a bonding session over lunch with the current PSG members.

X-Country @ Bartley

The PSG provided assistance as road marshals for the school’s annual X-Country Run @ Sengkang Riverside Park. Their support helped to spur the students on for the final lap of the race. It was indeed a day to remember!

Coffee Talk – Family Cycle

The PSG meet-up to have a coffee talk session by our very own PSG Chairperson, Mrs June Ho, who is a qualified mentor and facilitator. Our PSG members found the session fruitful with plenty of personal anecdotes and discussions, 

on top of sharing tips on how to enhance communication with people from different age groups.

Terrarium Workshop
Our PSG members joined the Terrarium workshop conducted by South East CDC for PSG members in the district. It was a great bonding session with other PSG members from other schools.

Activities done by the PSG for 2017

Welcome Tea for New PSG members
On this day, we welcome our new PSG members to the Bartley family. We had our Principal, Mr Azhar, to speak to parents about the importance of parents’ involvement in their school activity. We then had a sharing session by former PSG Excos, Mrs June Ho and Pamela. Some PSG members also shared their aspirations and motivations behind joining the PSG.

X-Country @ Bartley
The PSG provided assistance as road marshals for the school’s annual X-Country Run around Kallang Stadium & Tanjong Rhu . Their support and presence helped to give the final push for the students to complete the final lap of the race.

PSG Bonding @ Alive Museum
The PSG organised a PSG Bonding Day for the members and their children. It was a chance for both members and their children to spend time together. A photo competition was held and many creative photos were taken. Clearly, everyone had a lot of fun!

Helping out for school events – SYF Choir and National Day celebrations
Our PSG members are actively helping out in school events. The school appreciates the kind support in school events and programmes.

PSG Bonding – Teacher’s Day gift-making
Our PSG members came together to make gifts for Teacher’s Day to show appreciation for the educators who is shaping their children’s lives. It was a good chance for members to impart the value of gratitude in their children through this short activities.
