MOE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (FAS)

The Ministry of Education provides financial assistance to needy Singapore Citizens so that every child, regardless of their family background, can have access to good education. Parents need to submit only one application form for all their school-going children to one of their schools.
To prepare for the collection of school attire and text books from 18 November 2024 (Monday) onwards, the MOE-FAS application form should be submitted to the school General Office by 8 November 2024 (Friday).

Eligibility Criteria

Are Singapore Citizens.

Attend government or government-aided schools.

Have a monthly gross household income (GHI) of $3,000 or less, or a monthly per capita income (PCI) of $750 or less.
PCI is computed by dividing the gross household income by the number of members in the household.

DigitalAccess@HOME

This is a scheme that provides subsidised broadband and laptops/tablets to low-income households to support their lifestyle needs, including work and social activities. Students who do not have internet access at home can tap on DigitalAccess@Home for subsidized internet broadband.
Eligibility Criteria

Low-income households living in HDB flats with at least one Singapore Citizen.

Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund

Students in primary and secondary schools who are Singapore Citizens (SC) or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) may apply for the ST School Pocket Money Fund if the family per capita income (PCI) per month is $750 or less, and the child is not concurrently receiving school pocket money from another STSPMF disbursing agency or receiving monthly school pocket money from other schemes, excluding MOE/SPED FAS and ComCare. If the application is submitted through the school and the child is receiving MOE/SPED FAS or ComCare Assistance at the point of application, there is no need to submit the income support documents. Students under MOE/SPED FAS or ComCare Assistance will only need to submit the completed Annex A (Application form) with the MOE/SPED FAS or ComCare Assistance letter indicating period of assistance.
If a child has already received the maximum 24 months of subsidy from the primary/secondary school, he/she will no longer be eligible for the fund.
Primary school beneficiaries receive $65 a month and secondary school beneficiaries receive $100 a month. For more information, please refer to https://www.spmf.org.sg/primary-secondary-students.
For applications submitted through the school, please submit them to the school's General Office by the timeline given.
